据说，午夜的电影院阴气很重，有时可能碰见不干净的东西。一天，几个年轻人去一家由殡仪馆改建的影院看一部午夜场恐怖片。没想到，电影中的恐怖事件在现实中同步上演。昏暗的走廊悄然出现飘过的黑影；影院厕所挂满了滴血的人皮；坐在影厅前排的女大学生，竟突然被电影里的鬼手拽进电影；紧接着，电影里的女鬼突然冲出银幕，开始一场血淋淋的恐怖杀戮……。小星，只是一名普通的中学生，但他一直在为实现梦想而不懈努力。偶然间，他发现学校的物理老师凤鸣，竟然就是二十年前的天才机械师。经过一番努力，小星与他的伙伴获得了凤鸣老师的帮助，踏上了为了梦想竞赛的旅程。。Val (Jerrod Carmichael) has reached a place where he feels the only way out is to end things.
