女孩小满拼命辗转于各种运货零工之间帮人打杂，执着于给离世的妈妈挣出一个“海景房”。直到一只流浪小狗偶然闯进她的生活，它用自己独一无二的方式，教会小满说出那句曾经难以开口的“再见”……。Howard Tyler (Frank Lovejoy) is a family man, living in California, who can't seem to get by financially. He meets up with a small-time, but charismatic, hood Jerry Slocum (Lloyd Bridges). Soon, Slocum convinces Tyler to participate in gas station robberies to get by. Later, they kidnap a wealthy man in hopes of getting a huge ransom. Things go wrong when the man is murdered by...。
