夏洛克和华生将经历“更深更黑暗的浑水”，而宿敌莫里亚蒂也将回归，与夏洛克展开更深层的斗争……。该剧在1985年5月期间刚刚定妆，本来是由翁美玲和汤镇业共同主演，而翁美玲也将此作为两人重新开始的一个契机，但是在定妆记者会时正好发生了汤镇业与某女星共同在海滩嬉戏的新闻，令翁和汤在化妆间大吵一架，随后只拍摄了一场戏的她即告自杀，而该剧中她的角色随后由张曼玉代替出演。。A quick glimpse at the cast for this film would make any horror fan giddy with glee.
