本剧由三个互相关联又独立的悬疑单元剧组成。故事一讲述一个杀人犯的女儿被当年受害者的父亲绑架，她的生死引出了当年案件不为人知的真相；故事二讲述牵涉此案的女记者因此深陷人生危机，女记者在流产和失忆后，却在梦里经历了另一个天大罪案，而案件的真相却如罗生门扑朔离迷，最后竟直指她本人是做局者之一。故事三讲述在女记者震惊面对事实真相之际，她失联多年的妹妹却和妹夫竟然互相杀害而亡，而他们背后的故事隐隐和女记者的所有经历，和前两个故事里的关键人物命运竟然都环环相扣，内有联系，原来每个人都互为因果，每个故事里隐藏的秘密，都成为另个故事里的恶意；但天网恢恢，最终恶人都会自食其果，正义终将得以伸张。。Marie, an independent and militant sex worker who has never needed to rely on anyone, not even to raise her son.
