本片是一部传统音乐文化纪录片，共5集，每集50分钟，选取不同的角度，对流传至今的传统经典国乐进行挖掘，梳理那些产生巨大影响的音乐文化现象。故事内容涵盖音乐表演、乐器考古、乐理分析以及乐人对国乐流变的不断探索等。藉着传统古乐的共同命题，向今天的我们呈现历史的不同侧面，问古知今，梳理传承的脉络，倾听音乐的流变，丰富思考的维度，思考当下，探索未来。。The story begins in today Istanbul, when a woman called Işık (Bade İşçil) arrives at an old house.
