When Margaret (Wainwright) and Ben (Gilford) take a weekend trip with longtime friends Ellie (Crew) and Thomas (Santos) and their two young children (Guiza and Mattle), Ben begins to suspect something supernatural is occurring when the kids behave strangely after disappearing into the woods overnight.。儿子打算把家里的老藏獒卖给乡上的狗贩子，父亲坚持留住这只老狗，并在路上追回准备把狗卖掉的儿子与那只藏獒。接着，老人把狗藏在山上。然而放到山上的藏獒再次被别人卖到狗贩子的手里，即将被运往内地作为宠物。儿子为了要回藏獒与狗贩子发生冲突，最后被警察拘留，年迈的父亲无奈中不得不做出艰难的决定。。
